1. What you're agreeing to

By using cavemanexplain.com ("the site") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the current version.

2. What the site is

Caveman Explain is an entertainment and educational site. Explanations are written in a simplified, humorous style and parts of the site are generated by artificial intelligence. Library pages are reviewed for accuracy; live answers to typed questions are generated on the fly and are notindividually reviewed. AI makes mistakes. Content is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.

3. Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is medical, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice. Caveman is a cartoon caveman. For decisions that matter — your health, your money, your rights — consult a qualified professional.

4. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the site: no attempts to overwhelm or circumvent rate limits, no automated scraping of the ask feature, no using the site to generate harmful content, and no interfering with other visitors. We may block traffic that breaks these rules.

5. Your questions

You're responsible for what you type. Don't submit personal data, secrets, or content you don't have the right to share. Questions are processed by third-party AI providers to generate answers (see the privacy policy) and are not stored by us.

6. Our content

The Caveman character, artwork, and site content belong to the site's operators. You're welcome to share excerpts and screenshots with attribution (that's what the share button is for); don't republish the site wholesale or use Caveman to sell things without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site's operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. The site is free; your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law (including the Australian Consumer Law).

8. Accounts

Accounts are optional and free, for people 13 or older. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. We may close accounts that abuse the site. You can delete your account at any time.

9. Donations

Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. As thanks, the email you donate with gets an ad-free perk on this site (sign in with that email to use it anywhere). Donations are not purchases of goods or services, and the perk may be adjusted or retired — your donation is a gift, not a subscription.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes belong to the courts of Australia.
